Board game cafés are a great place to recharge. Traveling often is a whole lot of walking around looking at things. We love when we can step inside, sit down, and just play for a couple hours.

A Nerd in the Philippines
In the Philippines we came across all of the same geek stuff that we are familiar with at home. There were books, computers, video games, TTRPG’s, TCG’s, cosplay and all sorts of collectables from shows. What was different was the increase in anime culture and the presence of pop icon paraphernalia in nerd shops.
Dungeons & Dragons: The Islands of Sina Una
The core of D&D and what makes it so amazing remains the same: the creativity and co-operation of the people playing and telling the story together. We both had an amazing time at The Office: Roll Play. With this first success, I certainly will be trying to find further chances to play in other countries.
